Sagmeister?

Let's go back in time. Back to Wednesday night, when Stefan Sagmeister was in Adelaide to give a talk. Cliché as it may sound but it was a very inspiring talk. I get goose bumps just thinking about the way he imposes his principles not only in design but also on life. To me, he is not just a graphic designer but also a great role model for human kind. He does not design just to earn a living but rather to make a difference in other people's lives.
Graphic design is about communicating something visually that is interesting, yet also capturing the essence of that something. Sagmeister pushes the boundaries of graphic design as he goes that step further, aiming to evoke an emotion or response out of the viewer by reaching out and touching their hearts.
Now I’m not saying that everyone should go out and try to imitate Stefan Sagmeister, I’m just saying that everyone could take something out of the way Sagmeister is socially responsible for his design, his ideals and the way he embraces life. I think that if we could all live by some of his mottos then we’d all be better people for it, whether you’re a graphic designer, plumber, engineer or whatever.
The one with all the pretty pictures

The adventure in Sydney began with an ambitious plan to rid the city of evil.
However, I soon found out that it was not quite as easy as it appeared to be and so I abandoned the plan and began to look forward to Semi-Permanent.
Darling Harbour was where Semi-Permanent was held.

Semi-Permanent began with people entering like Santa through a chimney on Christmas Eve.
The event was an opportunity to meet some cool people like Gina.
An opportunity also arose to join the Navy but I'm not the biggest fan of seamen.
Also not a big fan of people trying to make music out of beer bottles.

After Semi-Permanent had ended, I wandered around the streets of Sydney.

Eventually finding my way to Chinatown and also the Chinese Gardens.
After filling myself up on food at Chinatown, I made my way towards Bar Broadway, where Semi-Intoxicated, the Semi-Permanent after party was held.
I drank a bit too much and everything was a blur.
Somehow, I managed to stumble upon the Channel Seven building, where it seems the news was being broadcast live.
The stumbling continued and after getting lost a few times, I finally found myself at the airport and on the way back to Adelaide.
Stupidity begins
What happens when Steve is let loose on the streets of Sydney? He ends up spending seven hundred dollars on a wallet and shoes. Enough said, let's hope he has enough for presents.
Holy shit Batman!
Busting out of the bat cave, Steve heads for Sydney planning to kick the bad guys out of town. Stay tuned!
